India is one of the quickest developing countries in the world. The main consequence of corruption is a loss to exchequer, a bad environment to get investment and an increase in cost of government services. Apart from this Data corruption also contributes to an unethical contemporary society. This increases the already existing difference between poor and rich. This may lead to unrest and devastation of modern communities. This interpersonal evil needs to be curbed to be able to bring back ethical values in the society as well as to fill the widening space between the rich and the poor.
Swami Vivekananda was, especially, an honest and ethical guy on a righteous path. He had a strong feeling of integrity, morals and principles. Among his well-known sayings is that " Selflessness is GodвЂќ. Selfishness and greed will be the main causes of corruption. Whenever we all used in Swami Vivekananda's footsteps and implemented his theories, we would understand better than being so self-centered as to extort money from other people in the form of bribes and embezzlement.
